TUITION AND FEES The New SPACE is made up of volunteers. We are entirely dependent on the payment
of tuition and fees to function. All courses and talks are payable on a sliding
scale. You may pay the high figure,
the low figure, or any figure in between.
You may not pay for only part of a course. REGISTRATION FOR COURSES Due to scheduling necessities, we urge that payment
in full for courses be made at least A WEEK PRIOR TO THE START of the
course. Please send a check or money
order, made payable to “The New SPACE,” to The New SPACE P.O. Box 19 Planetarium Station New York, NY 10024-0019 Be
sure to indicate the class that you wish to register for and include your
name, address, e-mail address and telephone number. If you are unable to pre-register, we will also
accept payment AT THE BEGINNING OF THE FIRST SESSION of the course
(please come a few minutes early). However, we reserve the right to cancel
any course that lacks sufficient registration. REFUNDS Students who withdraw from a course will be
refunded tuition on a pro rata basis upon request, provided that the
course is less than half completed. SCHOLARSHIPS It is our policy not to turn anyone away from
courses or talks because they cannot afford the “low” fee figure. Students
who cannot afford the “low” figure for a course may apply for a scholarship
by sending us a letter or e-mail, in which they briefly describe their
circumstances and state what lesser sum they can pay. THIS MUST BE
RECEIVED AT LEAST A WEEK BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS. CONTRIBUTIONS Students are invited to make additional
contributions to help ensure the school’s ability to continue. Contributions of time are also needed. Everyone can help by publicizing our
